Job Title: Line Lead Operator

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Hours: 4:30am to 5pm
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Lead Operator to join our team in Middlebury. The ideal candidate will have a background in paint operations and managerial experience, capable of overseeing multiple production lines or plant functions. As a Line Lead Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, scheduling, materials handling, and maintenance. You will assist machine operators, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality control standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple production lines or plant functions, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
Assist machine operators with personnel, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements.
Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment issues promptly.
Manage materials handling, including inventory control and supply chain management.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality control standards are met.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Train new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to address concerns and optimize workflow.
Requirements:
Previous experience in paint operations is required.
Managerial experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work early morning shifts and extended hours as needed.
