Line Lead
Shift: 3rd shift
Hours: 8pm-6am
Pay rate: $20.50
Location: Elkhart

This position is for a machine operator, (line lead).The operator is responsible for the following:
- meeting or exceeding safety standards - making sure team is performing their roles safely,
- meeting or exceeding quality standards - making sure all checks are being performed and documented,
- meeting or exceeding production standards - making sure the machine is running at or above rate,
- making sure there is a safe work area - no slip or trip hazards,
- communicating with the team - so they know the details of the work orders,
- communicating with the material handler - to ensure smooth changeovers,
- communicating with the skid builder - so skids are ready when needed,
- communicating with the supervisor - keeping the supervisor in the loop of where they are in their production goals,
- reporting any problems to the supervisor immediately,
- reporting all mechanical problems with the machine - so supervisor can get maintenance to look it over,
- making sure there is general housekeeping being performed on the machine daily,
- making sure all paperwork is filled out correctly - and turned in at end of shift,
- an operator should also be doing a handoff to the next shift operator - so they know where they are in the work orders.
