Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled painter to join our team. As a painter at, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to a variety of products, including drive axles and related components. You will work closely with other members of the production team to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
Select appropriate paint and mix it according to specifications.
Apply paint to products using a spray gun or other equipment.
Ensure that all surfaces are evenly coated and free of imperfections.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Assist with other tasks as needed, including assembly and inspection of products.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in painting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
Familiarity with painting equipment and techniques
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
