Pro Resources Staffing is hiring a 1st Shift Team Lead for a leading manufacturer in Williamsport, Indiana. Our client is a diversified manufacturer of thermoplastic Hose and Tubing products featuring leading edge technology. Providing quality industrial hoses and accessories since 1984.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Schedule work orders as required
Assign job duties per work orders to the KFP team
Oversee the process of assembly and testing as needed
Staging product to the KFP area as required for assembly
Supervise employees in assembly, testing and shipping of product
Responsible for taking the finished product to the warehouse to ship to customers
Oversee employee paperwork per customer specifications
Work closely with the KT Admin Lead to make sure inventory levels are accurate in our inventory systems as required
Know and follow rules, methods, policies and procedures of the workplace
Implement and monitor safety rules and regulations
Train and coach KFP team in all processes of hose assembly
Report any unsafe conditions to the Production Manager immediately
Be willing to learn and accept new responsibility
Evaluate co-workers performance; coach for improvement
Under instruction of the Production Manager supervise team activities
Assist the Production Manager in the use of Progressive Discipline for performance issues
Learn and follow ISO procedures and work instructions in this classification
Trouble shooting abilities
Reading, writing and mathematical abilities
Must be fork lift certified
Must hold a First Aid Certification and CPR
Ability to bend, kneel, balance, reach, stand, push, pull, walk, carry and lift
Able to lift 50 lbs
Wear all PPE required to perform duties, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes
Experience
Previous manufacturing supervisory experience and mechanical abilities required
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required
Knowledge of fire hose assembly
