Poultry Processing Production Associate  Second Shift 
The General Production Plant Worker supports daily poultry processing operations by performing tasks related to cutting, deboning, trimming, packaging, labeling, and inspecting products in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role ensures product quality, safety, and efficiency while adhering to USDA and company standards.

Schedule
Second Shift – 3:30 p – 1:00 a  based on daily production needs.

Hourly wage 
Second Shift $20.00

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work on assigned production line (live hang, evisceration, debone, cut-up, trim, or packaging)
Inspect poultry products for quality and remove defects
Weigh, package, and label finished products accurately
Maintain production speed to meet daily quotas
Follow all food safety, USDA, and HACCP guidelines
Adhere to PPE requirements (hairnets, gloves, aprons, safety glasses, etc.)
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas
Assist with equipment cleaning and sanitation during shift changes
Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
Rotate tasks as needed based on production demands
 
Work Environment
Cold and wet environment (typically 35–45°F in processing areas)
Standing for long periods (8–10+ hours)
Repetitive hand motions and lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
Exposure to raw poultry products
Fast-paced, team-oriented setting
 
Qualifications
Previous food production or manufacturing experience
Ability to work in refrigerated conditions
Strong attendance and reliability record
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic understanding of workplace safety
 
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
Repetitive hand and arm movements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in cold temperatures
