Job Title: Rod Utility – 2nd
Location: Goshen, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (flexibility to train on any shift)
Pay: $21.00/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Rod Utility to cut, straighten, and pack rods according to specifications. This role supports the finishing operations in the Rod Department and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and basic equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut rods to specified lengths and pack efficiently.
- Lift up to 50 lbs safely throughout the shift.
- Operate hand tools, packing, and wrapping equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized work area and accurate documentation.
- Assist with other tasks in the Rod Department as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
- Safety gear required: metatarsal shoes/boots, safety glasses, earplugs.
- Ability to stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
