Position: Fabricator – MIG Welder (1st Shift)
Pay: $24/hr
Shift: 5:00am – 3:30pm (Monday–Thursday, overtime as needed)
Job Summary:
Are you a skilled Fabricator – MIG Welder looking to join a 1st shift team? This role focuses on welding stair treads and related components, performing straight-line MIG welding with additional fabrication duties including grinding and torch cutting. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MIG welding on stair treads and other assigned parts.
• Complete straight-line welds with consistent quality and accuracy.
• Grind, torch cut, and perform other fabrication tasks as needed.
• Inspect finished welds and parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Follow all safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job requirements and issues.
• Assist with other fabrication duties as assigned to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
• MIG welding experience required; fabrication experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Knowledge of grinding and cutting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Safety-focused with reliable attendance.
