We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. This role is critical in keeping our equipment, machinery, and facility in top working condition through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on production, facility, and support equipment using manuals, diagrams, and engineering specs
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and make timely repairs
Dismantle machinery to remove and replace defective parts using hand and power tools, lifts, and hoists
Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect and determine part tolerances
Monitor, document, and communicate maintenance activity, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure continuity across shifts
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures and company policies
Provide support and information to team members, supervisors, and other departments as needed
Conserve resources by using parts and supplies efficiently
Stay up to date on technical knowledge through continued learning and training
Contribute to a team-driven environment by completing additional tasks and assignments as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Ability to read and follow technical documents such as manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications
Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical systems and using precision measurement tools
Comfortable operating fork trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, hoists, and power tools
Strong communication and documentation skills
