Job Title: Material Handler / Forklift Operator – 1st Shift
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support production and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for moving materials efficiently, maintaining accurate inventory flow, and ensuring workstations are supplied to meet production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and verify materials and supplies based on production orders
- Deliver materials and supplies to workstations, ensuring required quantities are maintained
- Remove completed finished goods from workstations and verify quantities and lot numbers
- Transport finished goods to the shipping department
- Remove waste, empty dumpsters, and clear drums/containers from production areas
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Return unused packaging materials and supplies to the warehouse after order completion
- Perform pre-use inspections on forklifts and material handling equipment
- Support inventory control and maintain accurate material tracking
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of forklift operating experience
- Experience with inventory control processes
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
