Production Lead
Location: Elkhart, IN
Pay: $22.00/hr
Hours: Flexible, typically 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations on the production floor at our Elkhart facility. This role is responsible for leading production team members, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
The Production Lead will coordinate workflow, support production goals, and communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations and on-time completion of production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production team members on assigned shift.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
- Monitor workflow, equipment use, and product quality throughout the shift.
- Train, coach, and support employees to improve performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Communicate production issues, delays, or quality concerns to management.
- Maintain accurate production records and shift reports.
- Assist with troubleshooting basic production or equipment issues as needed.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Attend daily and weekly production meetings as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience required.
- Leadership or lead/supervisor experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, production reporting systems).
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
