Rubber Extrusion Operator – Production (3rd Shift)
Location: Elkhart, IN
Pay: $19.00/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Rubber Extrusion Operator to join our production team on 3rd shift. This role supports daily manufacturing operations by operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient production in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor rubber extrusion equipment
- Adjust materials and settings to ensure quality output
- Read and follow production travelers and work instructions
- Maintain accurate records of production, scrap, and materials
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues
- Support inventory processes, including FIFO and cycle counts
- Assist with general production tasks and maintain a clean work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Requirements:
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred
