Job Duties
- Independently perform routine building maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, remodeling tasks, and roof leak repairs.
- Maintain exterior areas, including landscaping, snow plowing, salting, and sprinkler system troubleshooting and repairs.
- Fabricate, assemble, or repair parts and fixtures needed for building or equipment upkeep.
- Coordinate with and support contractors during repair, construction, or remodeling projects, ensuring work aligns with company standards.
- Assist with and contribute to preventive maintenance planning, documenting needs and proactively identifying potential issues.
- Support larger maintenance projects and collaborate with the maintenance team when additional help is required
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas while adhering to all company safety standards.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and in good working order.
Background Profile
- Experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related trade preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
