Position: Slitter Helper – 2nd Shift
Pay: $20/hr
Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Monday–Friday)
Job Summary:
Join our production team as a Slitter Helper! You’ll work alongside machine operators to set up equipment, handle materials, and check product quality. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, helping ensure products meet customer specifications while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with setup and operation of slitting equipment.
Load and secure coils using forklifts/coil cars (training provided).
Monitor materials during processing and report any quality issues.
Help with weighing, labeling, and packaging finished coils.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred (not required).
Comfortable with physical work (standing, lifting, moving coils).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Forklift experience a plus.
