Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire
Location: Bluffton, IN
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (2-2-3 rotation) Guaranteed 8 hours OT per check. Extra OT available.
Pay: $26–$38/hr, based on experience. Up to $44/hr for candidates with qualifying education.
Pro Resources is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a leading aluminum manufacturing facility in Bluffton, IN. This company is recognized as one of North America’s top producers in its field and operates several modern facilities across the U.S. and Canada.
What You’ll Do:
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment
Support production operations by minimizing downtime and addressing equipment issues quickly
Inspect and maintain cranes; safely rig and move heavy components as needed
Use MP2 maintenance software and monitor PLCs and HMI panels
Follow all OSHA/OHSA and company safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Strong experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance
Solid understanding of PLCs, combustion systems, blueprint reading, and preventative maintenance practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with crane maintenance and inspections a plus
Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check
Work Environment:
12-hour shift (7am–7pm)
Indoor/outdoor setting with exposure to high/low temperatures, loud noise, and occasional fumes
Some confined space work and lifting up to 50 lbs
PPE provided and required
