Senior CNC Machinist – Direct Hire
Location: Berne, IN
Pay: $28–$32/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: As needed
Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire a Senior CNC Machinist for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist who can independently set up, troubleshoot, and make program edits while holding tight tolerances.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up, operate, and run CNC machines for precision part production
- Machine parts to exact tolerances based on complex blueprints
- Load, edit, and adjust CNC programs to match tooling and job requirements
- Select proper tooling and make adjustments based on material and application
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and material issues independently
- Perform hand finishing work such as filing, fitting, and scraping
- Record labor and production data accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You Need to Qualify
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school certification or equivalent hands-on machining experience preferred
- Advanced CNC machining experience (setup + program editing required)
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints independently
- Strong understanding of tooling selection and machining applications
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and adjust programs, tooling, and processes
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass a background check
