Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire
Pro Resources is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a long-term, direct hire opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company in the Berne, IN area. This facility specializes in high-volume production and offers a clean, stable work environment with no overtime or weekend work required.
Schedule:
Training: 1st Shift | 7 AM – 3:30 PM (approx. 3 months)
Regular Shift: 3rd Shift | 11 PM – 7:30 AM, Mon–Fri
Pay:
Starting around $30/hr, depending on experience
Additional $1.50/hr shift premium for 3rd shift
Pay based on experience and skill level
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and equipment upgrades
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on the production floor
Recommend process or equipment improvements
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in maintenance (mechanical and/or electrical preferred)
Background working in a factory setting or hands-on mechanical experience
Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
Must be seeking long-term employment
Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the Berne, IN area
