Pro Resources is seeking a Supervisory Lead for a valued client in Auburn, IN. This role is responsible for directing and coordinating daily production operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations. The Supervisory Lead will assist in leading the shift, providing guidance to the team, supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, and fostering communication across shifts and departments.
Plan and organize resources, materials, and people to achieve daily production goals.
Motivate, train, and guide employees toward greater efficiency and skill development.
Foster continuous improvement and facilitate problem-solving within and across shifts.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities.
Interview and help select personnel for the shift.
Keep employees informed of business updates and future plans.
Enforce company policies and plant guidelines consistently.
Ensure proper safety conditions, practices, and protection of company assets.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
Monitor product quality and stop/correct operations if quality is impacted.
Address conflicts promptly while keeping management and HR informed.
Communicate material or inventory issues as needed.
Lead team meetings, safety talks, and shift handoffs.
Assist with permits (Safe Work, Hot Work, Confined Space, Line Breaking).
Back up hourly personnel and cover for other Leads or Supervisors when necessary.
Coordinate sample processing with Production, Quality, Scheduling, and Customer Service.
Manage payroll details: punches, overtime approvals, adjustments.
Direct set-up, operation, and control of department equipment.
Promote and enforce participation in all safety programs.
Distribute production orders to operators in a timely manner.
Monitor and report line data, trends, or unusual measurements.
Ensure compliance with plant QCPs, SOPs, and SWPs.
Lead and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all required training is completed for assigned employees, including contract staff.
Remain flexible with hours/assignments to meet business needs.
