SUMMARY
Effectively perform job requirements. Work within the parameters of prints, work instructions as well as instruction manuals to build Helms to the highest level of quality to the customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Operate within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Work safely by wearing all required safety equipment.
- Assist others in work-safety practices while observing the plants safety policy.
- Read and understand work instructions and instruction manuals.
- Follow instructions carefully and fully when assembling all components for the helms.
- Must fully complete all time sheets and paperwork accurately.
- Must organize and maintain paperwork in such manner that customers’ warranties are not compromised.
- Responsible to work effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S methodology) throughout the shift.
- Responsible to meet team production requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining quality.
- Communicate effectively with fellow Associates, Supervisors, VP of Mfg and all other key Staff.
- Participate in continual improvements activities; assist other associates in production as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Drive quality in the process.
- Report supply use, to the supervisor, to ensure that inventory levels are accurate.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required; this is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent; Formal education/accredited degree program preferred.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance required.
WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment; Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 150 pounds with assistance; Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors. |
