Pro Resources Staffing Service is currently recruiting for an HR  Coordinator for a manufacturing facility in Bloomington.  Direct hire opportunity!

POSITION SUMMARY
The position of Human Resources Coordinator is to work as a supportive and cooperative team member providing excellent customer service, with specific knowledge in administration of the activities of the Human Resources Department. The main responsibilities of the Human Resources Coordinator is to is to provide support in areas of benefits, payroll, onboarding, training, legal compliance and other human resources issues.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide timely assistance to team members regarding benefit and human resources questions and issues.
Accurately maintain employee personnel files, ensuring legal compliance.
Prepare offer packets, benefits packets and other employee related information.
Coordinate employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations and changes.
Prepare employee census information for insurance, 401K and other reports.
Provide written employment verifications for current and former employees.
Coordinate and set up training classes and meetings as needed.
Reviewing, screening, and maintaining application & resumes.
Conducting background screens on applicants as necessary.
Coordinating 90 day, 6 month and annual review processes.
Assisting with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning and other human resources issues.
Assisting with preparation of special events such annual company events, holiday events, etc.
Assist with payroll process as needed to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
Prepare, send and retrieve monthly counselings for attendance system.
Any and all other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:
High School Diploma with at least some college coursework in related fields.
Minimum of 2 years experience working in an HR position.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, management and labor.
Basic knowledge of labor laws.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong math skills required.
Good Organizational skills.
Able to exercise great initiative independent judgement.
Ability to maintain confidentiality information.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills.
Willing to work additional hours as necessary
