About the Role:
Pro Resources is hiring a reliable and driven Heat Treat / Production Line Operator to join a reputable team in Crawfordsville, IN.
Details:
Operate and continuously monitor the Heat Treat production line, making adjustments to controls as necessary to maintain efficiency.
Regulate and track line speeds, temperatures, and cycle times in accordance with established work instructions.
Safely load and unload metal components into heat-treating machinery.
Inspect completed parts to verify quality standards, including hardness checks and identifying cracks or other defects.
Partner with the Lead Operator to meet daily production objectives.
Accurately document production data, including machine settings and inspection outcomes.
Complete routine housekeeping responsibilities to help minimize Lead exposure throughout the facility.
Comply with all safety guidelines, including proper use of respirators and required personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
Prior experience operating production lines, including managing line speeds, temperatures, and control panels.
Ability to interpret work orders, read gauges, and operate control systems effectively.
Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift at least 100 lbs., and handle materials in a manufacturing setting.
Must successfully pass a physical exam and respirator medical evaluation.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production facility with exposure to heat, noise, and physically demanding tasks.
Use of protective equipment is mandatory due to high temperatures and potential Lead exposure.
Must be comfortable wearing a full-face respirator.
