Job Description
GRINDER
 
BASIC FUNCTION
 
The Grinder position shows the ability to grind foot console shells to the proper shape. Must have light machinery experience and have an eye for detail, mainly working with refurbs and adjustments
 
 
Shift and Pay
 
1st shift
$16hr 
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES
 
  • Responsible for quality shells to match in length, width, and arch height. Adding any heel lifts or arch reinforcements requested
  • Cutting material needed to process initial orders.
  • Trim excess plastic from the shell, rough grind to shape the shell. Includes engraving account and RX# on the bottom of the shell.
  • Posting the extrinsic rearfoot if needed.
  • Responsible for packaging cut products. Responsible for the quality of work.
  • Placing work order with cast and forwarding to the Finish department.
