Position Type: Full-Time (3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Pay: $14-$16 based on experience
Position Summary
The Final Finish Associate is responsible for grinding flanges, drilling holes of various sizes, and grinding fiberglass parts to thickness in accordance with customer specifications. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety in the production process.
Essential Functions
Cut fiberglass flanges from parts per customer specifications
Drill holes into fiberglass parts to required specifications
Grind fiberglass parts to specified thickness
Verify cuts and measurements using a tape measure and process control specifications
Operate diamond cutters, drills, saws, and other air-powered tools as required
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning grind booths
Work efficiently on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
Meet production requirements and standards consistently
Contribute to productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
Work cooperatively with team members to achieve quotas and goals
Follow all written and verbal instructions
Adhere to safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and report concerns to management
Maintain a positive and professional attitude
Work overtime, including weekends, as needed

Education & Experience
Technical Knowledge
Proficient in using air-powered tools such as diamond cutters, drills, and saws
Ability to verify part specifications and measurements accurately
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain stationary 100% of the time
Frequently lift fiberglass parts weighing up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 125 lbs
Operate air-powered tools for extended periods of time
Position self around all sides of parts at various levels to cut or grind
Working Conditions
Exposure to changing indoor temperatures, fumes, dust, and loud noise
Must consistently follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE
