3rd Shift Gel Coater
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates a gel spray gun to apply gel coat to mold at specified thickness.
- Use mil gauge to check thickness of gel
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Clean the gel spray gun and area as needed
- Ensure the production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Make every effort to increase productivity without compromising quality
- Work cooperatively with production team to meet quotas and goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Observe all safety guidelines, including required PPE (protective personnel equipment) and report safety concerns to management
- Follow all written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Able to work overtime, including weekends if necessary
- Assist in pushing molds to keep the production line moving
Pay and Shift
$14-$16 an hour depending on experience
10pm to 6am
Technical Knowledge
- Ability to operate a gel spray gun and other air powered tools as needed.
Physical Requirement
- Must be able to remain stationary 100% of the time.
- Frequently lifts fiberglass materials weighing up to 10 pounds and must be able to transport these fiberglass materials up 20ft
- Frequently positions self to maneuver around the mold while spraying the part
