Job Title: Forklift Operator
Salary: $20.27 hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (3-11) Central Time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Follows all established safety procedures. Reports unsafe conditions or behaviors to supervisor.
- Operate within standard operation procedures (SOPs), Quality Policy, Environmental Management System (EMS) and customer requirements.
- Completes all required paperwork and documentation.
- Operates gas or electric-powered trucks or lifts and transport materials between loading, processing and storage areas. Positions lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids and boxes, and secures material or products from transport to designated areas.
- Weights materials or products and records weight and other production data on tags or labels.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts.
- Maintains a neat and organized work area
- Must be able to work overtime
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic Math Skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing)
- Requires completion and certification of employer-based training in forklift operation.
- Successful completion of at least one year of on-the-job or job related work experience and a safe driving record.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Computer and Internet skills and knowledge
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Self motivated, self-starter
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
- Vision correctable to 20x20 in both eyes
- Requires mostly sitting with some standing.
- Requires frequent climbing, bending and twisting
