Pro Resources is currently seeking candidates to fill the role of Production 3^rd shift  Material Handler for a company located in Goshen, IN.

 

Staring Wage: $18/hr

Shift Times: 3^rd Shift 11pm-7:30am Sunday – Friday

 

Safely operate powered industrial vehicles and material handling equipment to move raw materials, supplies, work-in-process, finished goods, scrap, and other materials in order to provide proper work-flow for molding machines, packers, and other internal customers. Perform Product packaging as needed. 

 

1. Performs all work according to proper safety standards. 2. Inspect and unload raw materials from bulk trucks or other containers into silos and process paperwork accordingly. Monitor silo readings. Clean up any spillage indoors or outdoors. 3. Clean material hoppers and switch material lines for all molding machines that are changing materials, and notify shift on radio as appropriate when complete. 4. Mark all material containers with proper identification (type, style, number, etc.), for proper movement or disposition. Accurately weigh/count and provide documentation for scrap and WIP information. 5. Perform minor maintenance and repairs to hopper loading systems, central grinding system, silos, surge bins, press-side grinders, and write work orders as needed. 6. Remove finished good and work-in-process materials from machines or packaging stations and move to designated holding areas. Replace pallets or containers with empties as needed. 7. Supply materials (pallets, boxes, supplies, etc.) to cell team members as needed. Remove unnecessary packaging materials & keep paths & aisles clear. 8. Ensure safe stacking and storing of product and containers. 9. Scan pallet labels to update FGPS with FG Production 10. Perform the stretch wrapping operation and put-away process for all finished good products in warehouse staging area, or load in truck. 11. Communicates well with associates, Supervisors, and vendors, coordinates work in a positive and professional manner. 12. Any job related duties as assigned by your team leader. 13. Reports all safety hazards, unsafe working conditions, abnormal circumstances, accidents or other problems to supervision. Keeps own work area neat and orderly. 14. Powered Industrial Vehicle license (will provide training); successfully passing any required physicals or drug tests; physical attributes for climbing, lifting, etc.; good attendance. Basic Tools/Equipment Used: Lift trucks; scanner gun; radio; weigh scale; grinders; stretch wrappers; bailer; dock locks, bailer, silo monitoring equipment; IQ system; and WMS System. Essential Functions: · Regularly required to stand, lift, bend, twist, reach with arms and hands, climb, stoop, crouch, grip, or crawl. · Ability to safely operate forklifts. · Ability to read and understand work orders · Ability to write simple correspondence.
