Shift and Compensation
5:00am-3:30pm
Mon- Thurs- Overtime scheduled on Friday, Saturdays voluntary if offered
**Candidates must be able to train on day shift for 1-2 months depending on learning curve.
$15.50 an hour
Additional $3 dollar an hour incentive for perfect attendance paid Monthly!
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for storage, handling, shipping materials and finished products to and from customers or Nemco’s facilities.
- Controls incoming and outgoing product and non-product materials from the warehouse.
- exportation, physical inventories, manual and systems controls, verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments.
- Prepares items for shipment - compares identifying information, against bill of lading, invoices.
- orders, or other records.
- Determines method of shipment, utilizing shipping schedules, shipment request, shipping
- procedures, and routes.
- Examines and audits outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Operates shrink-wrap machines, forklift trucks, or uses hand truck dollies to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving areas or platform to storage or work area.
- Makes reports and keeps records on file.
- Experience with computers.
- Qualifications:
- Ability to set up and operate material handling equipment.
- Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
- Pass a forklift-driving test (Nemco certification).
- Ability to keep workspace clean and organized.
- Experience as a Shipping Clerk in a production environment preferred.
