Job Summary
As a Sorting Associate you will play an important role in keeping the production process running smoothly. In this position you will sort organize and prepare materials for the next stage of manufacturing while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Carefully sort and organize a variety of materials and components according to company procedures
Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications
Prepare sorted materials for the next stage of production including packaging labeling and staging
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow
Work with the production team to identify and resolve issues that may slow production
Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
Comfortable working in a fast paced and physically demanding environment
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Steel toe boots required
Working Conditions
This position works in an active industrial manufacturing facility. The role may include standing for extended periods lifting and moving materials and working around normal manufacturing noise.
