Shift and Compensation
5:00am-3:30
Mon- Thurs- Overtime scheduled on Friday, Saturdays voluntary if offered
15.50 hour
Additional $3 dollar an hour incentive for perfect attendance paid Monthly!
Job Duties
Operating brake presses to bend and shape metal sheets according to specified measurements and design requirements.
Ensuring precision and accuracy in the bending process to meet quality standards for metal components used in food equipment manufacturing.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints to execute precise bending operations.
Conducting routine inspections of equipment for maintenance needs and reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Collaborating with the production team to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
Adhering strictly to safety protocols and guidelines while performing brake press operations.
Background Profile
Previous experience operating brake presses or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or related industries.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain precision in measurements and bending angles.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Standing: Most tasks are performed in a standing position with intermittent walking.
Lifting: Frequently lifting items weighing 5 lbs. to 10 lbs.; occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional team lift of items weighing in excess of 51 lbs.
Walking: Frequent walking short distances (less than 1/8 mile).
Carrying: Occasional carrying of bulky items weighing up to 50 lbs. short distances.
Pushing: Use of manual hand truck and carts to occasionally move skids or parts short distances.
Pulling: Use of manual hand truck and carts to occasionally move skids or parts short distances
Bending: Occasional bending required to perform a variety of tasks.
Reaching: Frequent reaching to load and unload parts in tubs, carts, or pallets.
Handling: Frequent handling of parts ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 10 lbs.
