Finance Office Assistant

ProResources Staffing Services is partnering with a manufacturing consulting firm located in Angola, Indiana! We seeking an additional team member, in the Finance function. This is a newly added role, due to continued growth within the company. This job is expected to last 6 months, but could transition to a permanent position. The ideal individual will:

-Be highly attentive to details with the ability to maintain responsiveness and professionalism

-Be experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other software programs

-Communicate effectively, at all times, both in writing and verbally, with both internal and external customers

-Have a positive work ethic and attitude

-Be comfortable managing areas of gray and working autonomously

-Desire and ability to exceed expectations on the quality of work performed

Shift and Compensation

-1st shift


-Type: 6 months but could transition to permanent

-8: 00AM-5: 00PM


Job Duties

-Daily accounts payable and receivable functions including but not limited to entry, processing of reports, invoicing, collections, etc.

-Maintain multiple financial and customer required spreadsheets

-Assist with monthly financial duties and working with Accountant to address questions and requirements

-Produce and track quotations as well as internal/external purchase orders

-Complete new customer paperwork/portal set up specific to customer requirements

-Daily customer contact

-Track time-sheets and expenses

-Analyze, track and process expense reimbursements

-Provide employee assistance with timekeeping system

-Ordering office supplies and marketing materials, as well as maintain supply inventories

-Provide training and presentation materials

-Assist with IT issues

-Assist with special events and projects as requested

-Answering phones, filing, mail, and general office duties

-Prepare and modify documents, including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails

Background Profile

-Proficient in financial data entry in Deltek, Concur and JD Edwards systems for payroll and expenses

-High School Diploma required

-Associate's Degree preferred

-Driver s License

-Attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines

-Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

-Must maintain a high level of confidentiality with respect to sensitive business issues

-Ability to be flexible, accept change, react appropriately and timely

-Ability to work productively, be dependable, and work with minimal supervision
