- Compensation is from 62,400 USD to 72,800 USD per year
Job Duties
- Perform electrical skills, including repairing electrical controls, equipment, and wiring, as well as the troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical components.
- Assist with repair of production equipment in an efficient and timely manner as needed with repair of production equipment.
- Perform and assist highly diversified duties to repair, maintain, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform simple machinist skills for fabricating parts as needed.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and the troubleshooting of blown film extruders and ancillary equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, machines, and facilities.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
Background Profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent or 5 years experience
- Experience in electrical and electrical controls
- Experience in blown film extrusion preferred.
- Electrical skills: 480 VAC 3 phase, VFD, PLC, Print Reading Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
- Knowledge and practical application with some of the following technology areas: PLC’s, HMI’s, process instrumentation, machine control systems, variable frequency drives (PowerFlex, etc.), servo drives, power distribution (<600V), control system networking, and electrical safety
- High Mechanical Aptitude: print reading and interpretation, Mechanical Assembly, Pneumatics and Hydraulics knowledge
- Welding Skills
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Ability to apply Intricate troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of basic hand tool usage
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand through shift
