Job Location- NW side of Indianapolis (Park 100 area)
Status- Full-time, Direct-Hire
Salary- $70-80k
Job Duties:
- Selection of components
- Design of circuits and cabinet layouts
- Generation of bills and materials
- Writing PLC programs
- Configure servo systems
- Troubleshooting the final system, either for a new design or by modifying an existing design to use a different brand of PLC or to meet a different safety standard.
Background Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology OR an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in the following types of PLC's: Allen-Bradley Control Logix, Mitsubishi Q or iQ Series or Siemens S7.
- Familiar with the application and setup of digital servos
- Experience or familiarity with creating and modifying electrical schematics using AutoCAD or similar software
- Familiarity with the applicable electrical standards (NFPA 70 and NFPA 79) is preferred.
- Familiarity with U.s, Canadian, and CE safety standards preferred.
