Job Title: Digital Production Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Shift will change on May 1st to Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $17/hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Digital Production Technician to join our team specializing in customized shoe soles. The ideal candidate will use computer-aided design and manufacturing software to create precise designs and programs that guide production machinery, ensuring high-quality, custom products are produced efficiently. Strong computer skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and edit 2D and 3D models of customized shoe soles using CAD software.
- Generate CAM programs to guide CNC and other automated production equipment.
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery based on CAD/CAM instructions.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve designs and workflow.
- Maintain an organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably with CNC machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
