Pro Resources has partnered with a local fabricator of I-Beams in Columbia City, and we're looking for a crane operator.
Hours:
3rd Shift: 11pm – 7am
Pay:
$18/hour
Previous experience is not necessary, but preferred as they are willing to train the right individual.
Job Description:
This position would entail operating a crane and/or fork truck to load and unload the I-Beams being delivered.
Essential Functions:
•Must be willing to work outside in the elements
•Utilize crane to load and unload I-Beams
•Utilize large fork truck to move smaller I-Beams
•Work as part of the team
•Follow all company rules and policies
•Follow all safety rules
•Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Qualifications:
•Ability to understand and comply with quality & safety standards
•Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50lbs
•Ability to perform simple math
Attire & PPE: Steel toes/metatarsals, jeans, t-shirts, hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection
Environment: Inside and Outside (not temp controlled) - Construction/Heavy industrial. Do not want to sugarcoat it, it is dirty, hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
