Chemical Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)
Location: Lafayette, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $18.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience & certifications)

Pro Resources is hiring a Chemical Maintenance Technician for a growing and safety-focused operation in Lafayette. What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Perform batch treatments and tank changeouts to support production needs
- Operate and maintain wastewater pretreatment systems in compliance with regulations
- Conduct and document daily, weekly, and monthly waste inspections
- Manage chemical inventories (weekly and month-end)
- Maintain filtration systems, plating tanks, and chemical equipment
- Safely receive, label, and store incoming chemicals
- Support hazardous waste handling and maintain accurate documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines
What You Bring (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–5 years of experience in chemical maintenance, wastewater treatment, or industrial environment
- RCRA, DOT/IATA, and Hazwoper certifications/training
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience with confined space work or Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Familiarity with pumps, plumbing, or PLC/PC systems
- Forklift certification
- Class C Wastewater Treatment Certification
Work Environment & Equipment
You’ll work with a variety of chemical handling and maintenance equipment including pumps, filtration systems, and measurement tools in a safety-first environment with full PPE provided (respirators, gloves, face shields, etc.).
