Shift and Compensation:
- 7am-4pm, M-F
- $17-21/hr Dependent upon experience

Job Summary: As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our client's manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise to produce high-quality precision components. You will be responsible for operating and programming computer numerical control (CNC) machines, (mills and lathes) ensuring the accurate and efficient production of various parts and components. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in CNC machining, be adept at programming CNC equipment, and possess exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate dimensions or tolerances.
- Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
- Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
- Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.
- Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.
- Program computers or electronic instruments, such as numerically controlled machine tools.
- Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
- Confer with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
- Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to display placement of cuts.
- Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools.
- Set up or operate metalworking, brazing, heat-treating, welding, or cutting equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in programming CNC equipment.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard CNC programming languages and software.
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with precision measurement instruments and quality control procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
