Location: Elkhart
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Monday- Friday with possible OT
Pay: $22.00/hr
Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a full-time production role. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of CNC Mills and lathes, with a focus on precision machining. Experience in using calipers and micrometers (down to .0001) is essential, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC Mills and lathes for production runs
- Ensure the quality and precision of machined parts by using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints to determine machine settings and specifications
- Maintain a consistent and efficient workflow to meet production goals
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in all machining processes
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficiency in operating CNC Mills and lathes
- Strong knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers (down to .0001)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Good work history, demonstrating reliability and commitment
- Physical ability to stand at the machine for 8 hours and lift weights ranging from 5lbs to 40lbs
- Availability for a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm, with possible overtime
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
