The CNC Machinist will work with our computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines and will be responsible for producing quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings and customer standards. Shift/Hours: 3rd Shift (Sun- 9pm-1am, M-Th-10pm-7am) Candidates must be willing to train on 1st shift for several months.
Job Status: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: up to $28/hr
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Part setups, tool setups, operation and final inspection of parts that are manufactured
• Ability to read manufacturing prints
• Knowledge of G-code programming, as well as being able to troubleshoot a program and edit as needed
• Ability to read micrometers, proper use of indicators, and other inspection tools
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• 3 years’ experience as a CNC machine operator
• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities
• Good computer and mathematical skills
• A strong work ethic, a stable work history, solid communication skills, pleasant attitude, and a team player mentality
• Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls a plus
