5am-1:30pm or 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday- Occasional Saturday for overtime

CNC Machine Operator
As a CNC operator, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to set up and operate CNC machines. These machines utilize pre-programmed software to control the movement and operation of cutting tools, lathes, mills, or other equipment. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the machines produce high-quality parts that meet the required specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Machine/Fabricate parts to print specifications.
Follow Standard Work.
Maintain Daily Performance Charts accurately.
Meet or exceed individual Policy Deployment Goals.
Support Time Available and not be in the Disciplinary Action status.
Communicate quality problems to supervision.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules and regulations.
Must be willing to cross train, and/or fill in as required due to personnel shortages due to vacations or illness.
Notify Team Leader of any shortages of materials needed to complete scheduled jobs.
Perform Preventive Maintenance as required.
Perform 5S responsibilities as required.
Perform Value Added tasks and processes as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:
Horizontal or Vertical machining experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Knowledge of G-Code Programming.
Basic tooling and fixturing knowledge.
Excellent Attendance.
Outstanding work ethics.
Quality driven.
Meet or exceed 5S goals.
Knowledge of different types of measuring equipment – calipers, bore gages, thread gages, taper gages, micrometers, etc.
Embraces change.
Takes an active part in Problem Solving.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 45 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand 8 – 10 hours daily.
