Looking for highly skilled CNC Lathe Operator.
Friday- overtime day if overtime is scheduled – usually only 6 hours.
Pay-$21 DOE
Hours- Monday – Thursday 6-4
Job Summary
The Lathe CNC Machinist position has a direct and significant impact on the day to day operations of the machining department. A primary focus of this position is the value creation made possible by overall organization and production of product in the lathe machining area. This requires the alignment of organization and overall pride in the work. While the value creation for an organization involves a network of relationships between internal and possible external environments, the organization and output of product through the machining areas plays an important role in improving the overall value chain of an organization.
The right candidate must be proficient in G-code programming. Prior experience using Surfcam or relevant software would be beneficial.
Candidates should be familiar with Haas Mills and Renshaw Probing systems.
We are looking for proficient operators who can set up and run programs on various grades of Nickel Alloy castings and Stainless-Steel wrought bar. Strong candidates will have
- a mechanical aptitude
- critical thinking skills
- computer knowledge
- A High school diploma or GED
- Certification for machinists is optional provided you have five years’ experience in CNC machining in a manufacturing environment.
