2nd Shift Breakout & Deburring/Floater
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Limited mandatory overtime
Position Overview:
A growing metal fabrication facility is seeking a reliable and hardworking Breakout & Deburring/Floater for 2nd shift. This position involves handling and finishing sheet metal components after they have been cut, ensuring parts meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.
Responsibilities:
- Punch out and separate finished parts from large sheets of metal.
- Shake out cut pieces from metal sheets.
- Grind, sand, and deburr rough edges and metal burrs from fabricated parts.
- Inspect parts for quality and remove imperfections.
- Assist in various production areas as needed.
- Safely handle materials and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements:
- No experience required; manufacturing or fabrication experience is preferred.
- Ability to frequently lift, move, and handle up to 50 pounds.
- Strong upper body strength required due to the physical nature of the work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
- Industrial fabrication setting.
- Facility may be hot during summer months and cooler during winter months.
- Steel-toed boots are required.
