Shift and Compensation
- Monday-Friday 7-4 PM
- Compensation: Up to $90,000 per year
Job Duties
- Conducts safety meetings, safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance, protective equipment is properly utilized, evaluate performance, identifies corrective actions, and implements follow-up assessments for all safety related programs.
- Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety and compliance training programs.
- Conducts new hire safety training and ensures new employees understand safety practices and policies.
- Subject matter expert on government compliance programs and regulations such as OSHA and EPA.
- Collaborates with management to develop Safety Programs and serve as primary contact for injury and incident notification, investigations and case management.
- Maintains record of safety inspection activities, reports and correspondence.
- Coordinates annual programs including fire inspection tours, hearing conservation programs.
- Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety and health programs at all facilities.
- Provides management team with guidance on health and safety programs and confirms that safety projects fulfills industry, local, state and federal guidelines and regulations
Background Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety Health, Environmental Engineering or related Discipline Preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years manufacturing experience, with management level safety profession experience
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
