The Assistant Data Manager for JAG, In-School Youth, and Out-of-School Youth Staff plays a central role in contributing to the success of the youth program by providing diligent support in data management, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of program data, and assisting in the development of efficient reporting processes that enhance decision-making and program outcomes. This position requires a passionate and detail-oriented individual. This position reports directly to the Data Manager.



Shift and Compensation

  • Mon-Friday
  • $40,000 a year salary

Job Duties

  • Assist in the collection, organization, and management of program data across youth databases.
  • Support the Data Manager in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of databases and reporting systems.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and state requirements.
  • Keep program Manuals current by updating content as needed and making sure they are readily available to staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program managers and staff to ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data entry procedures and the use of data management systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and implement solutions as needed.
  • Monitor and ensure strict adherence to WIOA and DWD guidelines across all program activities, including tracking, documentation, and reporting.
  • Develop and execute ongoing training initiatives for existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff training and compliance activities and prepare reports as required.
  • Foster open and effective communication with staff, management, and external partners to ensure alignment with program goals and guidelines.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality at all times when handing sensitive information.
  • Participates in intradepartmental meetings, as necessary.
  • Supports other staff as needed. (Subbing may be necessary at times)
  • All other tasks as assigned by supervisor.             



Background Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ experience in related field preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adjust to a flexible schedule.
  • Must possess a current Driver’s License.
  • Must have reliable vehicle and be able to do extensive travel 
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Products at an advanced level, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in data entry and management
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, databases, data visualization tools)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of JAG program guidelines and objectives (preferred)
