Wire Harness Assembler – First Shift
Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Work Environment: Air-conditioned facility
About the Position
We are currently seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals for a Wire assembler/assembly position on first shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and is comfortable working with small components and wiring systems in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses by cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires to precise specifications. You will apply connectors, perform cable terminations such as lugging and splicing, and route and bundle harnesses according to design requirements. The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings is important to ensure accurate assembly. You will also inspect finished assemblies, perform continuity testing, and verify that all products meet quality and industry standards. Candidates should be comfortable using hand tools as well as wire processing equipment such as automated cutters, strippers, crimpers, and testing machines, while always maintaining strong attention to electrical safety procedures.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable team members with good hand-eye coordination, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Previous wiring, electronics assembly, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate who is willing to learn.
