Position Objective:
As an Account Manager at Wirco Incorporated, you will be responsible for preparing accurate sales quotations for both new and existing heat-resistant/stainless steel alloy products. Your primary focus will be on gathering and reviewing critical information from customers, sales representatives, and production teams to ensure precise cost estimation and quoting for projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers, sales reps, and production staff to gather and assess information required for the creation of new designs and reverse-engineered products.
- Accurately prepare and provide detailed sales quotations based on the gathered data.
- Ensure clear communication with both internal teams and customers throughout the quoting process to clarify requirements, specifications, and pricing.
- Utilize the Visual Manufacturing ERP system to input and manage quotation details, tracking the progress of each request.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for new product developments or design improvements for existing products based on customer feedback and requirements.
Capability and Skill Requirements:
- Basic math and geometry skills are essential; knowledge of geometry is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret basic production drawings to ensure proper cost estimation.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D modeling software is an advantage but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer and team interaction.
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A 2-year degree in a related field such as Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or a similar discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
