Pro Resources is seeking a dependable and motivated 3rd Shift Production Lead for a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company in Wabash, IN. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior manufacturing leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and leading a team toward success.
This position will begin with approximately 2 months of training on day shift before transitioning to the permanent overnight schedule.
Pay & Schedule
- Starting pay: $28/hr
- Up to $30/hr for exceptional candidates
- Training Schedule (Approx. 2 Months):
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–7:00pm
- Shorter shift on Fridays
- Regular Schedule After Training:
Responsibilities
- Lead and support production employees during assigned shift
- Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met
- Monitor production processes and equipment performance
- Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and escalating concerns when needed
- Complete shift reporting and communicate updates during shift handoffs
- Train and support team members on procedures and safety practices
- Promote a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Prior leadership or lead experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Experience with production machinery or industrial equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing best practices preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive movement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in varying plant temperatures and conditions
