2nd Shift Production
Job Summary:
Manufacturing facility in Avilla is looking for a motivated individual for their Operations department. In this position, candidates will be responsible for operating machines in a production setting. Temporary associates are eligible to be hired on after completing 90 days, given they have excellent attendance, performance and attitude. Once hired employees are eligible to receive a pay increase and company benefits package.
Shift and Compensation
2nd shift: 2pm – 10pm
$17.75 an hour
Job Duties
· Compliance with safety and environmental regulations
· Fill production log sheet/written records as directed
· Regular independent learning
· Regular maintenance of machinery / equipment as part of the maintenance and repair plans
· Report deviations from the normal production process (machine faults, tool malfunctions, material problems, etc...)
· Report quality defects
· Inspection of the parts in accordance with the worker-inspection plan or according to instruction before packing
· Packaging of products in accordance with instructions
· As part of TPM, maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace at all times
Job Requirements:
· Production experience, ideally in a company in the plastics packaging industry
· Good understanding of technical processes
· Good knowledge of operating supplies
· Willingness to work in shifts
· Willingness to follow training in order to become a machine operator and Plant/installations operator
· Readiness for self-development in the field of plastics processing
