Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift (Direct Hire)
Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay & Schedule
- $18 – $30/hour (based on experience and skill level)
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Overtime available
Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established industrial company in Lafayette, IN to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift direct hire position. This is a hands-on maintenance role in a fast-paced industrial environment where no two days look the same. What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform scheduled preventive maintenance
- Diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and work orders
- Replace or repair components and make necessary adjustments
- Perform light fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, and basic machining tasks
- Work with pumps, tanks, and chemical systems in an industrial setting
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
What We’re Looking For
- 1–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments
- Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities on 2nd shift
- Comfortable working in an environment involving industrial processes and chemicals
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Preferred (but not required):
- Forklift certification
- Hazwoper or confined space training
- Experience with plating, chemical processing, or fluid handling systems
