Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift (Direct Hire)
Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay & Schedule
Pay Range: $18 – $30/hr (based on education and experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday
Overtime: As needed
Position Overview
Pro Resources is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a growing team on 2nd shift. In this role, you’ll perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks to keep production equipment and facility systems operating at peak performance. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and support during production.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace or repair parts, and make necessary adjustments.
Perform light machining, carpentry, plumbing, and fabrication tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Operate and maintain a variety of hand/power tools, meters, hoists, and other equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
1–5 years of maintenance experience required.
Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
Hazwoper and confined space certifications are a plus.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic.
