Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Order Puller to accurately pull, count, and verify book products for customer orders. This position plays an important role in ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.
Hours: 4:30pm-1am Sunday-Thursday
Pay: $19.50
Job Duties
- Obtain picking lists or task assignments from leadership
- Enter orders into the production system and obtain a cart
- Pull and verify the correct quantity of books from warehouse shelves
- Use paper picking lists, RF scanners, or voice-activated picking processes
- Place picked books securely on the assigned cart
- Scan completed orders out of the production system
- Move carts to the appropriate staging area
- Maintain accuracy and meet production standards
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 6 months of previous work experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions at a high school level
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and able to multitask based on workflow demands
- Ability to meet and maintain production standards
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to safely work in a warehouse environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout the assigned shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull materials/carts using up to 45 lbs. of force
- Ability to continuously grip and grasp
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulder level, and keyboarding
- Ability to work overtime as required, including before or after the scheduled shift and/or weekends
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to a wide range of temperatures
Work Environment: Warehouse/picking environment requiring physical activity, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to maintain productivity throughout the shift.
