2nd- Direct Compression Molding

This company is a growing raw material supplier to the orthopedic industry based in northeast Indiana.  Consolidates Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene via Ram Extrusion, Compression Molding, and Direct Compression Molding using custom equipment. Pro Resources is looking for a candidate for the company's 2nd shift Direct Compression Molding position. 

Shift and Compensation

• 2nd Shift 
• $16hr.

Job Duties

• Learn and understand the process of direct compression molding UHMWPE of various medical product types to
  be able to meet production requirements.
   • Perform manual trimming operations on Medical Implants.
   • Responsible for strict adherence to RMP’s Quality Management System, including Material Traceability and
  Inspection.
   • Support and actively contribute to R&D work, validations, and daily production tasks.
   • Measure and verify dimensional conformance of direct molded components against provided inspection sheets
  and/or prints.

 ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
 • Must be able to maintain an environment similar to a clean room.
 • Must be able to be standing and/or walking for a minimum of 8 hours.
 • Must have good dexterity.
 • Occasional exposure to loud noise.
 • Must be willing to wear the proper PPE during your shift including a lab coat, hair net, Nitrile gloves, and steel
 toe boots.
 • Must be able to lift up to 10lbs daily, with an ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
 • May be required to work overtime as needed.
 • Train on first shift for potential transition to evening/night shift if preferred.
